Anna Princeva is an Italian soprano of russian origin, celebrated for her luminous voice and commanding stage presence across the world’s leading opera houses.
Since her recent, widely acclaimed portrayal of Cio-Cio-San in Madama Butterfly at the Bregenzer Festspiele, followed by major success at the Staatsoper Berlin, the role has emerged as a defining centrepiece of her repertoire, captivating audiences across Europe and leading to forthcoming engagements in Frankfurt and Stuttgart in the 2025/26 season.
Princeva is a frequent guest at The Royal Ballet and Opera, where she has appeared as Mimì La bohème, Nedda Pagliacci, and, most recently, the radiant Liù Turandot.
Additional highlights include critically acclaimed appearances at the Sydney Opera House, Hamburgische Staatsoper, and Teatro dell’Opera di Roma.
