As the First Prize Winner of the 2025 Belvedere Singing Competition, Geon Kim has established himself as one of the most promising baritones of his generation. He has gained international attention performing at major houses, including Deutsche Oper Berlin, where his roles include Marcello La bohème, Der Förster Das schlaue Füchslein, Moralès Carmen, and Graf von Monterone Rigoletto.

His repertoire includes Rodrigo Don Carlo, Guglielmo Così fan tutte, Il Conte d’Almaviva Le nozze di Figaro, and Gianni Schicchi.
Geon Kim is also a laureate of the KBS & KEPCO Voice Competition (First Prize) and the Korean Voice Competition (Third Prize).

He studied voice at Seoul National University under Mihye Park and Daebeom Lee, and joined the Korean National Opera Studio for the 2023/24 season. He is a recipient of the SeAH Woon Hyung Lee Foundation and winner of the Georg Solti Academy Seoul Competition (2024), leading to his invitation to the 2025 Georg Solti Academy in Italy.
