Internationally recognised for his interpretations of Mozart and Rossini roles, Polish baritone Hubert Zapiór has built his career around characters such as Count Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro, Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia, Guglielmo in Così fan tutte, and Papageno in Die Zauberflöte.
In recent seasons, he has also begun to broaden his repertoire with roles including Marcello in La bohème, Albert in Werther, and the title role in Eugene Onegin.

Opera highlights of the 2026/27 season include Silvio in Pagliacci at Dutch National Opera, the title roles in King Roger and Eugene Onegin at Komische Oper Berlin, a return to the Polish National Opera as King Roger and Papageno in Die Zauberflöte, Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia and Guglielmo in Così fan tutte with Warsaw Chamber Opera, and Kazimierz in Polish Wedding at Opera Wrocławska.
Concert highlights of the 2026/27 season include Orff’s Carmina Burana at the Verbier Festival, Szymanowski’s Stabat Mater with the Warsaw Philharmonic, Vaughan Williams’ A Sea Symphony with Filharmonia Łódzka, and Starbuck in Eugeniusz Knapik’s Moby-Dick with the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra (NOSPR).

Other career highlights include his Bayerische Staatsoper debut as the Marquis d’Obigny in La traviata, Ned Keene in Britten’s Peter Grimes at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia and Guglielmo in Così fan tutte at the Norwegian National Opera, Count Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro at Staatsoper Hannover, Guglielmo and Papageno at the Polish National Opera, and the title role in Don Giovanni at Komische Oper Berlin and Wrocław Opera.

In future seasons, he will make his debut at the Wiener Staatsoper and return to Dutch National Opera and the Norwegian National Opera.
