Mateusz Michałowski is a young Polish dramatic baritone whose upcoming engagements include the title role in Falstaff, Sharpless Madama Butterfly, and Giorgio Germont La Traviata at the Polish National Opera.

Recent performances include the title role in Rigoletto at the Grand Theatre in Łódź and the Baltic Opera, Amonasro Aida at the Teatr Wielki Poznań, and the title role in Gianni Schicchi on the stage of the Polish National Opera in collaboration with UMFC. He has also sung Renato Un Ballo in Maschera at the Silesian Opera, Giorgio Germont La Traviata with the State Opera Burgas, and Tonio Pagliacci at the State Opera Stara Zagora.

Mateusz Michałowski is a prize winner of the International “Stoyan Popov Competition” in Burgas (1st Prize, 2022) and the “Ghena Dimitrova Competition” in Pleven (2nd Prize, 2023). He has also received special prizes at the VI International Giulio Perotti Gesangswettbewerb in Ueckermünde and the “Viva Calisia” competition.
