Tata Razmadze, a 22-year-old soprano from Tbilisi, will join the Bayerische Staatsoper Operastudio from the season 2026/2027. Since 2021, she has been pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Academic Singing at the Tbilisi State Conservatory.
She is a winner of the third prize in the “Opera Golden Voice” competition in Batumi, organised by Tamar Iveri and also first prize at the 4th Tbilisi International Vocal Competition - Opera Crown.
In 2025, she appeared as Mimì in the third act of Puccini’s La bohème at the Conservatory Opera Studio, and shortly after took part in masterclasses with Marcelo Álvarez in Batumi, where she also performed in a gala concert with orchestra. Later this year, she is preparing for her full debut in the role of Mimi.
The repertoire Tata is currently preparing includes Mimì in Puccini’s La bohème and Lauretta Gianni Schicchi; Pamina in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Micaëla in Bizet’s Carmen.
