Tata Razmadze, a 23-year-old soprano from Tbilisi, began her musical journey at the Zurab Anjaparidze Public Music School and later refined her artistry at the Renata Tebaldi & Mario Melani International Georgian-Italian Academy of Classical Music. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Academic Singing at the Tbilisi State Conservatory, she joins the Opera studio of Bayerische Staatsoper from season 2026-27, where she will sing roles such as Papagena Die Zauberflöte, Giannetta L’elisir d’amore and Modistin/Kind Der Rosenkavalier. She will also portrait Micaëla in a concert version of Carmen at Opera Hamilton.

In 2022, Tata performed in Pesaro, Italy, in a concert dedicated to Renata Tebaldi and sang Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater with other soloists. Two years later, in 2024, she gave two concerts with the Italian tenor Fabio Andreotti and a string quartet, and the same year she won third prize in the “Opera Golden Voice” competition in Batumi, organised by Tamar Iveri.  

In 2025, she debuted as Mimì La Bohème at the Conservatory Opera Studio, and took part in masterclasses with Marcelo Álvarez in Batumi, where she also performed in a gala concert with orchestra. 

The repertoire Tata is currently preparing includes Mimì in Puccini’s La Bohème and Lauretta Gianni Schicchi; Pamina in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, the Countess and Susanna Le Nozze di Figaro, Zerlina  Don Giovanni, Fiordiligi Così fan tutte and a role in Idomeneo; Adina in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore and Maria La Fille du Régiment; Marfa in Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Tsar’s Bride; Micaëla in Bizet’s Carmen, and Leïla Les Pêcheurs de Perles.
