Tonight, Aigul Akhmetshina brings her world-famous Carmen to the character's homeland, as Damiano Michieletto's interpretation of Bizet's masterpiece opens at the Teatro Real Madrid. Aigul returns to the production, which she sang at the Royal Opera and Ballet earlier in the year.
