MK Impresari is delighted to welcome soprano Antonina Vesenina to our roster.

Just a few weeks ago, we announced a “Race for the Queen” on our Instagram, inviting singers to submit arias for consideration to become a Queen of the Night on our roster. After reviewing more than 200 applications, we are thrilled to begin this collaboration with Antonina and to showcase her exceptional talent.

Antonina has earned widespread recognition for her celebrated interpretation of the Queen of the Night in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, a signature role that has taken her to many of Europe's leading opera houses, including Deutsche Oper Berlin, Staatsoper Hamburg, Semperoper Dresden, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Komische Oper Berlin, Theater Dortmund and Oper Köln. Since 2022, she has been a principal soprano of the Mariinsky Theatre.

Antonina's repertoire extends far beyond her acclaimed Queen of the Night. It includes the title roles in Manon and Lakmé, alongside Elvira (I Puritani), Marguerite de Valois (Les Huguenots), Konstanze (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Norina (Don Pasquale), Olympia (Les Contes d'Hoffmann), Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Gilda (Rigoletto), Adele (Die Fledermaus), Ilia (Idomeneo), Teresa (Benvenuto Cellini), the Snow Maiden, the Swan Princess, and the Queen of Shemakha.

Among her recent highlights are her debut in the title role of Manon at the Mariinsky Concert Hall, appearances as the Queen of the Night at the Diaghilev Festival, regular guest performances at the Feodor Chaliapin International Opera Festival in Kazan, and concert performances of Glière's Concerto for Coloratura Soprano and Orchestra.

A laureate of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition, where she was awarded Fourth Prize, and the International Singing Competition of Toulouse, where she received the Silver Medal and a Special Prize, Antonina has established herself as one of the outstanding coloratura sopranos of her generation.
