Victoria Karkacheva makes a major role and house debut as Venus in Tannhäuser at the Grand Théâtre de Genève
It's debut time in Switzerland! This Sunday at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, Victoria Karkacheva makes a major role and house debut in the role of Venus in Tannhäuser. As a previous First Prize winner of both the Tenor Vinas and Operalia competitions, Victoria is clearly a voice worthy of elite Wagnerianism. Now she visits this role for the first time, of what will surely be many in her extraordinary career.

This performance is directed by Michael Thalheimer and under the baton of the internationally acclaimed Sir Mark Elder. Toi toi toi Victoria - in a plot full of Meistersingers, it is your voice we'll be listening for!
