"Andrei Danilov plays Rodolfo with great brilliance. His tenor voice reaches its peak, as it should, in the first act, which features one of opera's most famous arias. It is a dazzling display of high tenor notes that linger long and convincingly right next to the ear..." - Helen Flensburg, Borås Tidning

Hungarian State Opera - Faust
MOMUS
Ten years ago, we yearned for a real Faust, and here we have it. Andrei Danilov delivers a dizzying performance with magnificent technique; perhaps not since Nicolai Gedda has this delicate part been performed in such quality in our country. Every phrase embodies this inevitably tragic and complex hero, and it is truly rare to come across such a manifestation of the voice as an expressive skill. The ease and softness with which he plays the infamous C of the cavatina on piano (not falsetto) and even comes down from it elegantly, without taking a breath, is simply unparalleled. ...The dramatic colours of the part are just as effective, without any particular effort
