With a repertoire spanning French lyric, bel canto elegance, and classic Italian roles, and a growing roster of major house debuts, praised for his “splendid lyric tenor of volume and beauty, a totally secure top, with a plangent top C”, Long Long is rapidly earning a reputation for performances that blend lyrical beauty with emotional depth.

Highlights of the 2026/27 season include Rodolfo La bohème at Opernhaus Zürich, Seattle Opera, the Royal Danish Opera and Theater Bonn. He also makes his debut as Don José Carmen at Shanghai Grand Opera, and returns to Canadian Opera Company and Bregenzer Festspiele as Alfredo La Traviata.
Future engagements see him return to The Metropolitan Opera, Bayerische Staatsoper, Staatsoper Berlin, and make house debuts at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Theater an der Wien and at Volksoper Wien. 

Recent highlights include his acclaimed debut at The Metropolitan Opera as Rodolfo La bohème, a role he also performed at Semperoper Dresden, Staatsoper Hamburg, the Glyndebourne Festival, Santa Fe Opera and the Atlanta Opera. He made a house debut at Staatsoper Berlin as Roméo Roméo et Juliette, following his role and house debut at the Dallas Opera. 
Among his Verdian roles are Alfredo La traviata at the Bregenzer Festspiele, Atlanta Opera, Deutsche Oper am Rhein and Ópera Nacional de Chile; Il Duca Rigoletto with Oper Frankfurt, Bregenzer Festspiele and Prague National Theatre, and Cassio Otello at Bayerische Staatsoper. 
Other roles include Nadir Les pêcheurs de perles at Palm Beach Opera and Staatstheater Hannover, Edgardo Lucia di Lammermoor at Deutsche Oper Berlin, and Faust with the Canadian Opera Company, as well as Gérald Lakmé at NCPA Beijing.

A graduate of the Bayerische Staatsoper Opera Studio, Long was also part of the Salzburger Festspiele Young Singers Project and the Georg Solti Academy. His competition accolades include First Prize at the renowned Neue Stimmen International Singing Competition, Third Prize at the Francisco Viñas Singing Competition, five special prizes at the Moniuszko Vocal Competition, the Giovani Voci Verdiane Prize in Busseto, and Le Grand Prix de l’Opéra in Bucharest.
