Praised for his “impressive vocal authority and psychological intensity” (Opernwelt), Polish baritone Łukasz Goliński has earned an international reputation for standout performances as Scarpia, Escamillo and Szymanowski's Krol Roger.
In the upcoming 2025/26 season, Goliński returns to both the Staatsoper Berlin and the Royal Opera and Ballet as the High Priest of Dagon Samson et Dalila, sings Scarpia Tosca at Oper Frankfurt, Tomsky The Queen of Spades at the Staatsoper Hamburg, and Janusz Halka at the Polish National Opera.
Goliński has appeared at leading world opera houses including the Royal Opera and Ballet in London, Staatsoper Berlin, Opernhaus Zürich, the Glyndebourne Festival, Dutch National Opera, Gran Teatre del Liceu, and the Salzburger Festspiele. His broad repertoire spans dramatic and lyrical roles such as Orest Elektra, Escamillo Carmen, Giorgio Germont La traviata, Sharpless Madama Butterfly, Tomsky The Queen of Spades, High Priest of Dagon Samson et Dalila, Marcello La bohème, Fotis The Greek Passion, Jochanaan Salome, and Scarpia Tosca.
Recent highlights include returns to the Royal Ballet and Opera as Orest Elektra, Marcello La bohème, and the High Priest of Dagon Samson et Dalila, and to Staatsoper Hamburg as Giorgio Germont La traviata. He also appeared as Escamillo Carmen at the Royal Ballet and Opera, Opernhaus Zürich, Staatsoper Berlin, New National Theatre Tokyo, Dutch National Opera, Savonlinna Festival, Opera Australia, the Glyndebourne Festival, and Staatsoper Stuttgart; as Giorgio Germont, Sharpless at the Polish National Opera. He made debuts with the Royal Swedish Opera as Jochanaan Salome, and the Gran Teatre del Liceu as Count Tomsky Pique Dame, Orest Elektra at Teatro di San Carlo.
Goliński received critical acclaim for his renditions of the title role of Szymanowski's King Roger with Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia with Antonio Pappano, also with the Royal Swedish Opera and Opera Frankfurt.
