Described as possessing “exquisite musical seductiveness and vocal virtuosity”, Australian-Mauritian soprano Stacey Alleaume is one of the most captivating lyric coloratura sopranos of her generation.

Her 2026-27 season opens with house debuts at Irish National Opera as Micaëla Carmen and at Opera Ballet Vlaanderen as Violetta La traviata, followed by Adina L’elisir d’amore at Opera Australia. She returns to Deutsche Oper am Rhein in the title role of Lucia di Lammermoor and to Bregenzer Festspiele as Violetta La traviata. 

Recent engagements include her critically praised role debut as Amina La sonnambula and as Beatrice di Tenda at Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Gilda Rigoletto at the Bregenzer Festspiele, and Violetta La traviata at the Welsh National Opera, Opera Hong Kong and Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari. She also starred as Norina Don Pasquale for Scottish Opera and as Louisa Die Verlobung im Kloster at Theater an der Wien. 
On the concert stage, she has performed the soprano solo in Fauré´s Requiem with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, alongside appearances with the Tasmanian, Adelaide and Melbourne Symphony Orchestras, notably in Nielsen’s Symphony No. 3 under Sir Andrew Davis. In 2022, she toured with Andrea Bocelli as a featured soloist on his Australian concert tour.

A frequent guest artist of Opera Australia, Alleaume has appeared in signature roles including Violetta La traviata, both on the mainstage and in the acclaimed Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour, as well as Gilda Rigoletto, Pamina Die Zauberflöte, Susanna Le nozze di Figaro, Micaëla Carmen, Leïla Les pêcheurs de perles, Fiorilla Il turco in Italia, Sophie Werther, and Gretel Hänsel und Gretel.

Her voice gained international recognition as the singing voice of Millie (Danielle Macdonald) in the Netflix film Falling for Figaro (2021).
