The 2025/26 season will see Timur Zangiev return to Wiener Staatsoper with Eugene Onegin and Iolanta; and make his debuts at The Metropolitan Opera and Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía with Eugene Onegin; at Staatsoper Hamburg with Pique Dame, and at Staatsoper Berlin with Khovanshchina. His concert engagements this season include appearances with Orchestra of La Monnaie / De Munt, Orchestre de l’Opéra de Lyon, and Philharmonie Baden-Baden.
Future seasons will include debuts at Opéra national de Paris, Opéra de Lyon, and Grand Théâtre de Genève, as well as returns to Opernhaus Zürich, Bayerische Staatsoper, Semperoper Dresden, and Wiener Staatsoper.
In recent seasons, Zangiev made highly acclaimed debuts at Salzburger Festspiele with The Gambler; at Teatro alla Scala with Eugene Onegin, Pique Dame, and Romeo and Juliet by Prokofiev; at Bayerische Staatsoper with Eugene Onegin; at Wiener Staatsoper with Pique Dame; at Semperoper Dresden with Verdi’s Otello; at Opernhaus Zürich with Roméo et Juliette; and at La Monnaie / De Munt with The Tale of Tsar Saltan, and Sadko at The Bolshoi Theatre, Moscow.
Equally at home in the symphonic repertoire, Timur Zangiev collaborates with Filarmonica della Scala, Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Stuttgarter Philharmoniker, The Royal Danish Orchestra, Orchestra and Chorus of Teatro Regio di Torino, Bayerisches Staatsorchester, The Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra, The Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, The Russian National Orchestra, and The Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra.
